Welcome to Wedding Fiasco!

October 12th, 2007

Almost everyone who has gotten married or went to a wedding must have some fantastic story to tell. Most? :-) weddings go well but sometimes there are calamities that must be overcome. Some fiascos are worse than others.

At a friend’s wedding, the photographer passed a way the night before and the groom was not notified till the wedding had started. Luckily, another photographer was quickly found.

In preparation for my own nuptials, I wanted to be extra careful shaving so I did not cut myself. Therefore, I decided not to use a new disposable razer that day. Well, you guessed it, I cut myself. Worse, after I controlled the bleeding, I noticed I had some some red blotches on my white tuxedo shirt.

Dad came to the rescue and we switched shirts just prior to leaving for the pictures.

So why not share with us your wedding story- the good, the ugly, the funny and the fiasco.

And who knows, maybe some rich person out there may take enough pity on you to let you do a wedding do-over.

Bride sues over bad flowers.

The following link explains a story about a NYC woman who did not receive the proper color of flowers for a wedding. The bride is suing her florist for $400,000. The bride and groom spent $27,000 on flowers. With that type of money for wedding centerpieces you should get what you paid for.
